I have taught 35 years. I am highly organized and responsible. I am a creative thinker and am very proficient at problem solving. I have great communication skills and know how to listen.

I have 18 years of teaching experience including teaching English for 3 years in the Dominican Republic (preschool through first grades). I did my student teaching and taught private school for a year in NY and have also taught Kindergarten and worked with several camps. I have also worked for Sylvan in Bend.

As a classroom teacher I always had a special concern for kids who might `slip through the cracks.` As a tutor I am excited to be able to work closely with students to help them not only succeed in their studies, but to also feel good about school and enthusiastic about learning.
